About this guide

Who's behind Visit Ruaha?

An independent visitor guide, not a tour operator. Built because Ruaha deserves better information than it gets.

What this site is

Visit Ruaha is an independently produced guide to Ruaha National Park. We are not a safari company, we don't run trips, and no lodge pays to be ranked higher in our directory. Our job is simple: give you the accurate, current, practical information that is surprisingly hard to find about one of Africa's greatest parks.

How we work

Fees come from the official TANAPA tariff documents, not from copied operator pages, and every fees page shows when it was last verified. Wildlife claims follow peer-reviewed research where it exists; where a number is safari-industry folklore rather than science, we either skip it or say so. Lodge information is compiled from operators' own materials and cross-checked against multiple sources.

Found something outdated or wrong? Tell us via the contact form and we'll fix it, that's the whole point of this site.

The network

Visit Ruaha is part of a growing family of independent park guides covering Africa's greatest lesser-known wildernesses, from Hwange and Mana Pools in Zimbabwe to Kidepo in Uganda and South Luangwa in Zambia. Same philosophy everywhere: real information, verified fees, every lodge listed, no crowds.
